Looking for Twitter pitch events in 2024? New post up now!
Last updated: 7 November 2023
Hello! Welcome to this list of Twitter pitch events coming up in the second half of 2023.
Pitch events (also called pitch contests or pitch parties) are usually one-day events on Twitter during which writers use a particular hashtag to get eyes on their manuscript pitches. This is often in the hope of grabbing the attention of agents and publishers, but there are also events for finding beta readers or simply for authors to cheer each other on.
With Twitter being in a turbulent state at the moment, there is uncertainty around the future of pitch events on the platform—however, there's still plenty going on! The list below gathers all the information I could find about what is happening, and when, for the rest of 2023.
If you're planning to take part in any of these events, please double-check the details beforehand on the organisers' social media/websites (linked below), since schedules can easily change.

Hi, I'm Jake! I helped my Pitch Wars mentees craft pitches that caught the eye of multiple top SFF agents. I'd love to help you, too. Find out more about my pitch and query critique services, or get in touch with any questions!
I thought there was a picture book pitch party today, Oct 26, not for dark literature. If you have information, I would love to know.
Thanks for bringing the picture book event to my attention—I’ve added it to the list! So both #PBPitch and #PitDark are happening today on Twitter.
